Jomsom Muktinath Trekking

This Jomsom – Muktinath trek is located in Annapurna region. Muktinath which is the one of famous both Hindus and Buddhist pilgrims Temple.  Muktinath is sacred as the place of salvation. People used to believe that taking bath in the waters of this taps  guarantees salvation after death. For Hindu piligrims, Hindu God Brahma, is thought to have lit the eternal flames and which is still burn at Muktinath. To Buddhists piligrims, it is a place that the great sage Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) meditated at, and to all, it is the source of fossil; replace organic with mioneral substances in the remains of an organism which is also known locally as shaligrams, which are found all along the upper reaches of Kali Gandaki. Their customs, culture and formal attire are all quite distinct and provide a chance to see those differences in this trail. The religion ranges from Hinduism in the lower parts and the  Buddhism  Tibetain style further traveling to northern side. In September there used to be one of Nepal’s unique festivals, the annual horse races known as Yartung. This is a week of some serious horse racing, Tibetan style, and some equally serious taking part of gaily or enthusiastically in festival or merry celebration. The Jomsom trek is probably the most popular trek in Nepal. The different kind of landscapes and cultures to be found along the trek route gives a marvelous an instance of apprehending the true nature of a thing, especially into the way. The main feature of this trek is the walk through the a small canyon craved by the Kali Gandaki River, which carries water from the Tibetan plateau to finally join the Ganges in India.

Day 09: Marpha to Kagbeni
Day 10: Kagbeni to Muktinath
Day 11: Muktinath to Jomsom
Day 12: Jomsom to pokhara by flight
Day 13: Pokhara to kathmandu
Day 14: Free day at Kathmandu
Day 15: Transfer to your onwards destination
