Manaslu Trekking

Manaslu (8163 m/26, 775'ft) is the 8th highest peak in the world and is located near to the border of Nepal and Tibet. The name Manaslu means "The Spirit-Mountain" in the local dialect, referring to the benevolent and strong deity, which dwells within. Trekking in Manaslu is one of the most delightful adventures. The Manaslu Trek offers a perfect combination of rich culture heritage, well-loved trekking route, unsurpassed Himalayan beauty, a rich mountain biological diversity and genuine adventure sum up the trek experience around the Manaslu (8156m).
The trek starts after driving from Kathmandu to Arughat. The trek ascends follow Budi Gandaki River to Larkya La Pass (5113m) with attractive views of Himalchuli (7893m), Manaslu (8163m), Ganesh Himal, Ngadi Chuli (7879m) or (peak 29) and other mountains, beautiful varied landscape and different flora and fauna. Manaslu’s incomparable beauty and rich blend of Tibetan and Nepalese culture offer true adventures for visitors to Nepal. Trails are immaculate and grassy and are devoid of dusty caravans hauling provisions for trekkers. You may hear villages singing together as they work in the fields. You may even be asked to join in and lend a hand. The villages you pass through are full of character. It becomes attraction these days for the trekkers. Many trekkers would like to trek this part. You can do camping trek as well as tea house trek in Manaslu. Manaslu is fully tea house supported Trek. Now days, you can trek Lodge to Lodge.
