Chulu East Peak Climbing (6,584 m) is situated high above the Manang valley with breathtaking views across to the Annapurnas II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho Peak and Manaslu. Chulu East Peak Climbing is combined with the classic trek around the Annapurna massif, ascending the Marshyangdi valley and crossing the Thorong La. Chulu East Peak was first ascended in 1955 by a German expedition via the northeast ridge. Chulu East climbing is technically difficult for the new climbers. Hence, the climbers must be familiar with the use of climbing activities like crampons, harness ice axe, tying knots and handling climbing ropes. Major section of the climbing Chulu East Peak is devoted to ropes using and glacial crossings. The diversity of flora and fauna along the trail of this Annapurna Region until reaching the Chulu East Peak are incredible. Firstly, we departure to Besisahar from Katmandu and start trek enroot common Annapurna Circuit trails and reach Chulu East Peak in a week.
